Girl Scout Brownies Honor Local Veterans
Troop 40222 from Laurel Plains Elementary School visited American Legion Post 1199.

From Troop 40222
The Brownies in Girl Scout Troop 40222 of Laurel Plains Elementary School wanted to do something special to show their appreciation to our local veterans. The girls decided that the best way to spend this past Veteran’s Day was to design Thank You cards with a particular phrase and when put together it spelled out: Land Of The Free Because Of The Brave. Troop 40222 Believes In You! Thank You For Our Freedom!
Tonight the Brownies joined the brave veterans of the American Legion Post 1199, Orangeburg, NY. to express their gratitude.
