UPDATE: Clarkstown Goblin Parade, Costume Contest Postponed due to Weather
Kids up to 10 years old are invited to join in the fun -- but not tomorrow.
UPDATE: Clarkstown has postponed its annual Goblin Parade and Costume Contest.
The event will be held on the rain date, which is Oct. 29.
NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown's annual Goblin Parade and Costume Contest for kids will be held Saturday at Congers Lake Memorial Park (the rain date is Oct. 29).
The Clarkstown Recreation Department hosts the event, which is always a lot of fun for children up to age 10 — and their parents.

Registration and the judging start and end at the same time, from 11 a.m. to noon.
After that, there's a lot going on: refreshments, Halloween games, a horse-pulled hayride, a bouncy castle and more.

The whole thing is free — but you do need to bring proof that you live in Clarkstown.
The categories include most original, funniest, cutest, best superhero or villain, scariest, best animal, and sports.
The park is on Gilchrest Road in Congers.
