Haitian Child Missing From Haverstraw Found: Police
He was staying with a family friend when he left the residence and did not return.

HAVERSTRAW, NY — The Haitian child visiting the United States who went missing last month has been found. In a Facebook post, the Haverstraw Police Department said Lederky “Alex” Oge, 14, was located Sept. 4.

“We would like to thanks all those who have called in with tips and information that lead to reuniting this child with family,” the department said.

Oge was staying with a family friend in the Village of Haverstraw when he went missing Aug. 21.
He left the residence that day and did not return.
