Laurel Plains Elementary School Among Best in State

Laurel Plains Elementary School is the 99th best public elementary school in New York, based on new rankings of the top 100 schools in state from Niche.com.

The school in the Clarkstown district is the 4th ranked Rockland County school on the list.

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
