Leadership of Rockland Announces Class of 2017
25 emerging leaders to participate in year-long program

Emerging leaders from a wide range of disciplines will comprise Leadership Rockland, Inc.’s Class of 2017.
It will be the 27th class of Rockland’s premier leadership program.
“We are delighted to welcome another outstanding group of emerging leaders from across Rockland’s diverse business and civic community,” said Dan Weisberg, the Chair of Leadership Rockland. “I’ve always considered Leadership Rockland to be the equivalent of a Master’s program in Rockland County. We take great pride in developing a curriculum that introduces the class to the key issues facing Rockland today and in the future.”

Leadership Rockland offers existing and emerging leaders an educational experience focused on the infrastructure of Rockland County, NY – presented by leaders in government, business and non-profit sectors.

Class members attend a day-long session each month for 11 months, on topics such as Leadership Skills; Historical Rockland; Environment; Multicultural Communities; Education & Developing Human Capital; Economic Development; Criminal Justice & Public Safety; Healthcare & Emergency Services; Art, Culture, Media and Communications; Politics & Public Policy; and Making an Impact.
Class members are selected in a highly competitive process, and the program has 600 graduates over a 26-year span.
