Letter To The Editor: Carlucci Betrayed Democrats

To the Editor:

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me four times and you are New York State Senator David Carlucci (38th District).

Why? Because for his last four terms Carlucci has gone to Albany as a Democrat, then caucused with Republicans as a member of the IDC, fortifying Republican control of the Senate and empowering them to block the very legislation that he professes to support.

Let’s not be fooled again.

On September 13th Democrats can vote in the primary for Julie Goldberg to become Rockland County and Ossining’s next NY State Senator.

Julie Goldberg is a real Democrat. When we send her to Albany she will stay a Democrat and actually pass legislation to improve our schools, health care, taxes, and voting laws without the IDC double-speak that fooled many for so long.

We need to see real change in Albany. Every vote for Julie Goldberg on September 13th will move us closer to that goal. Polls open 6 am and close 9 pm. Please vote!
