Luxury Car Fencing Ring in Rockland County and NJ Shut down

Eighteen men have been arrested so far in the investigation.

An international luxury carjacking ring that stole cars from Rockland County and New Jersey has been shut down after a 16-month investigation.

According to an article on lohud.com, 18 men have been arrested so far, with three being sought as fugitives.

The suspects targeted golf courses and high-priced restaurants and shopping areas to find specific upscale vehicles, including Land Rovers, BMWs and Jaguars, the article said.

Ninety cars were recovered, with 23 found at ports in Newark, Elizabeth and Bayonne in New Jersey and Staten Island in New York.
