Cops: Man Adds Assault Rifle to Argument in Congers

A disagreement grew heated enough that one of the disputants fetched his AR-15, police allege.

CLARKSTOWN, NY — Called to 102 Lake Road in Congers at 4:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a man with a gun, Clarkstown cops found five men having an argument — and one of them had added his assault rifle to his opinion, police allege.

Upon interviewing all parties involved it was determined that the five men had known each other and were engaged in a dispute over a past relationship, police said without offering details about the relationship in question.

Police allege that one of them, Kevork Manougian, 24, of Congers, NY left the scene and returned armed with a Rock River Arms AR-15 assault rifle, which he pointed at one of the others.
