
CLARKSTOWN, NY — Police are investigating a shooting that took place at 6:55 p.m. Thursday in Central Nyack. Clarkstown police said someone called to report a man had been shot at 52 Mountainview Ave.
The officers found found a 29-year-old with a gunshot wound to his leg. Four male suspects ran away.

The victim was immediately removed from the scene by Nyack Volunteer Ambulance to Nyack Hospital's emergency room, police said.

Police have no further description of the suspects at this time.
As of 9:32 p.m. the victim was alert at the hospital, police said. They did not identify him.

The Clarkstown Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting and the Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene. The investigation is underway and any additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
