NEW CITY, NY — Two men escaped police in a Porsche Cayenne SUV just before dawn Tuesday after a police chase in New City during which they rammed a police car in a stolen Maserati.

The Clarkstown Police Department responded to multiple calls regarding high end vehicle larcenies and attempted larcenies in the New City area at about 3 a.m.

Officers found a dark colored Maserati sedan on Strawtown Road that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. The Maserati struck the police vehicle in an attempt to flee.
