Memorial Day 2022: Events In Clarkstown

NEW CITY, NY — There are several events planned to commemorate the Memorial Day holiday in Clarkstown.

Friday

Please join Clarkstown Supervisor Hoehmann and the Town Board for the Town's annual Memorial Day Ceremony. 11am, Friday, May 27, Street Community Center, 31 Zukor Road, New City

Saturday

Congers VMA Parade and Ceremony. Parade Kick off: 10:30am at the Congers/Valley Cottage Ambulance Corps building located at Kings Highway and Bluebird Drive. Parade participants will proceed on Kings Highway to Lake Road and then to the VMA Building at 66 Lake Road, Congers. Immediately following the parade there will be a Memorial Ceremony at the VMA Building.

Monday

• 10am - Mt. Moor Cemetery Ceremony at the Palisades Center Mall (in front of Dick's Sporting Goods)
• 11am - New City American Legion Ceremony, 65 American Legion Way, New City
• Noon - Jewish War Veterans, American Legion, and Nanuet Fire Department Ceremony at the Nanuet Train Station Veterans Monument, 25 Prospect Street, Nanuet
