Mostly Medical Last Week: Clarkstown Police Calls

Here's the Clarkstown Police Department's weekly call summary.

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown police responded to 558 calls during the week of Nov. 5-12. Medical emergencies were the most frequent - almost one in five calls.

Vehicle and traffic accidents only accounted for 72 calls. (It won't be that way next week, when last night's craziness is accounted for.)

As usual, more than half the calls were a mishmash of types: suspicious people, cars or incidents; alarms; animals; 911 hangups and the like.
