Motorcycle, Patrol Car Accident Sends 2 To Hospitals

The crash occurred in front of the Hillcrest firehouse.

RAMAPO, NY — A motorcyclist and a Ramapo police officer were taken to hospitals after a crash Tuesday night. The crash involved a marked Ramapo police patrol car and a motorcycle.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in front of the Hillcrest firehouse on Route 45, the Journal News reported.

The officer was treated and released at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. The motorcyclist was taken, with non-life-threatening injuries, to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
