You may not know this but I am a board certified music therapist. In addition to my work as the band leader of "The Bossy Frog Band," I have provided music therapy services to children and adults for over 20 years!
I am excited to let you know that I am opening a music therapy office in Nyack. Music is a wonderful tool to help children learn and grow. I work with children and adults with social and behavioral challenges, developmental delays and disabilities or just going through difficult life transitions. Or sometimes someone needs a new creative outlet and learning music with a music therapist is the best path to take!
I am offering individual and groups sessions. Music therapy can focus on specific skill building and therapeutic goals (social, emotional, physical, communication and/or cognitive) or on learning a particular instrument. We currently offer therapeutic music lessons on guitar, banjo, saxophone, flute, piano and singing.
