Neighborhood Pet Store Hosts Bark N’ Brunch to Celebrate Opening

STONY POINT, N.Y. – Pet Supplies Plus will soon open a location at 22 Holt Drive in Stony Point on November 10, offering local pet parents a hassle-free way to find better products for their pets, while saving them money and celebrating the fun of pet ownership. To celebrate, the new location will be hosting a weekend long grand opening event with a Bark N’ Brunch taking place on Sunday, November 11. The store is managed by Shawn Blessinger.

Beginning on Saturday, November 10 and continuing through Sunday, November 11, the new Pet Supplies Plus will offer special prize giveaways, unbeatable sale prices and more to welcome the community. The Bark N’ Brunch will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The primary giveaways are as follows:

• Saturday, Nov. 10 - Sunday, Nov. 11– Neighbors have a shot at winning a complimentary, one-year supply of dog or cat food.
• Saturday, Nov. 10 - Sunday, Nov. 11– Pet Supplies Plus of Stony Point will offer complimentary nail trims and dog washes for pets.
• Saturday, Nov. 10 – Mystery scratch cards, between the amounts of $5-$50, will be given to neighbors throughout the day.
• Sunday, Nov. 11 – The first 100 neighbors who enter the store will receive a coupon for a free, small bag of dog or cat food – valid on any brand within the store.

As a community partner, the store will be working with local animal shelters, rescue organizations and non-profits like Town and County K9 ResQ, Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, Shore Animal Volunteer Enterprise (S.A.V.E) to host year-round adoption events, fundraisers and pet food and product drives. The neighborhood pet store will also host fun, interactive events for pets designed to socially connect pet parents throughout the Stony Point community.

Pet Supplies Plus offers Stony Point pet parents a wide selection of natural pet foods, goods and pet services at low prices and focus on a unique, rich in-store experience for “neighbors” (the term Pet Supplies Plus uses for customer). The store will also feature grooming areas, grooming services, community rooms, and veterinary service offerings provided by VIP Petcare Clinics. Additionally, community neighbors will have the opportunity to take advantage of amenities such as self-pet wash stations, knowledgeable pet care team members and carry-out service in which team members carry heavy items to neighbors’ cars.

Blessinger, said pet parents are always welcome to shop with their dogs at the store, where knowledgeable team members are on-site to answer questions, offer tips or just get on their hands and knees to play with pets who enter the store.
