New City Chiropractic Center Cleans Up Area for the 3rd Year
Turns out there was cash in the trash!

From New City Chiropractic Center
NEW CITY, NY – In 2016, to honor their 30th Anniversary, New City Chiropractic Center put together a Keep Rockland Beautiful Great American Clean Up team for the first time. They had a group of adults and kids and picked up trash in an area of New City and helped beautify a section of a dirty roadway. Last year they cleaned behind the New City Condominiums on Heritage Drive. This year they targeted Tucker Road and Third Avenue and the area along Route 304.
The team, led by Dr. Michael Cocilovo and Dr. Gil Rodriguez, included Rockland County Legislator Lon Hofstein and five adult patients and four children, who all donned gloves and grabbers and picked up items including glass bottles, plastic bags, candy wrappers, newspapers, and soda and beer cans. This year however, the team was rewarded for their hard work as they found approximately $50 in cash along the fence line on Route 304.

"It is very satisfying to be able to contribute to the community in this simple way. Participating in the Keep Rockland Beautiful campaign is a great way to celebrate Earth Day and make an immediate and positive impact on our local neighborhood.” stated Dr. Cocilovo who spearheaded the effort. He added, “We look forward to putting together an even bigger team next year.”
