New City Residents: Enhance the Town's Emergency Notification System

Clarkstown residents, you can personalize the emergency notification system that police use to alert citizens about essential information, if you want to make sure you receive alerts.

All phone numbers in town are already in the system’s database.

By self-registering, Clarkstown police point out, you can provide additional locations or devices.

Then, the way it works is that if you don’t confirm receipt of the message on your primary contact, the system will try keep trying to reach you, working down the list of other contact numbers or methods that you have listed. The system will continue trying until it receives a confirmation from you.
