Over 300 attend Philanthropy Day Event

Rockland Development Council Held 19th Annual Philanthropy Day

Rockland Development Council celebrated the “Spirit of Giving” at its 19th annual Philanthropy Day Breakfast on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza, Suffern, NY. With over 300 attendees, the event is the largest annual gathering of non-profit agencies and philanthropists in the county. “Philanthropy Day is such an impressive and uplifting event. I felt energized being among the most talented, inspirational professionals in the county, and I walked away motivated to get involved and do more,” said Denise Mingione, Baking Memories 4 Kids.

Highlights of the program included the 2018 Philanthropy Day Awards ceremony and the keynote presentation by Nyack resident Richard Fuller, President of Pure Earth, about how pollution impacts people around the globe.
