HUDSON VALLEY, NY — There were many share-worthy stories from the Hudson Valley Patch network over the past week. It'll be easier to fly to two warm destinations as two airlines — one new — add local routes; a feared infestation has shown up in the lower Hudson Valley; heavy rains have sent more contaminated water into the Sound; transmitting electricity from renewable energy sources upstate means laying new cable along the bottom of the Hudson River.
