Parkway Stop Leads To Drug Arrests

State police said the two in the car possessed a large quantity of cocaine along with LSD, MDMA and marijuana.

STONY POINT, NY — Two New York City men face numerous drug-related charges by New York State Police. They were stopped on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Stony Point on May 25.

State police said they found Sarmad Ahsan, 28, of Brooklyn, and Donny Aristy-Valdez, 29, of NYC, possessed a large quantity of cocaine along with LSD, MDMA and marijuana.

They were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree, 3rd degree and 4th degree (all felonies). They were arraigned in the Town of Stony Point Court and sent to Rockland County Jail without bail, police said.
