Pedestrians Injured In Dawn Hit-and-Run In Ramapo
Police closed Route 45 to aid the injured and investigate the scene.

RAMAPO, NY — Two people walking on Route 45 near Washington Avenue were struck by a car at dawn Tuesday. The driver did not stop, police said.
Both were injured, one severely enough to be taken to Westchester Medical Center. The other was taken to Nyack Hospital.
Police are looking for help from anyone who may have seen the pedestrians walking in area of Rt 45 and Washington Avenue or who may have information about a possibly involved vehicle. Call (845) 357-2400 or use the Tip411 app on your cell phone.
