Phony-Looking Opioid Prescription Leads to Arrest in Bardonia
The pharmacist called police.

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown police were called to the CVS in Bardonia at 2:15 p.m. March 26 for a report of possible drug-related fraud.
The on-duty pharmacist was given what appeared to be a phony prescription for Oxycodone by a customer. The pharmacist contacted the police.
Sherman Winston, 60, of Newark, NJ, was taken into custody, arrested and charged with criminal possession of forged instrument 2nd, a felony.

He was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $2,500. Winston was remanded to the Rockland County Jail and is due to return to court on March 29.
