Police Seek Public's Help In Haverstraw Shooting

A 23-year-old was shot and killed in his back yard Sept. 4.

HAVERSTRAW, NY — Haverstraw town police seek help from the public in their investigation into the death of a resident shot in his back yard Sept. 4.

Andy Urena-Marrero died at Nyack Montefiore Hospital. He was 23.

Police were told of a second victim in the shooting incident, whom they found already at the hospital. They said the second person, a 20-year-old man, was treated and released.
