Rockland Man Accused Of Raping Relative, 11

The sex abuse occurred for several years, police said.

CENTRAL NYACK, NY — A 31-year-old man is accused of raping an 11-year-old relative several times between 2015 and 2018, Clarkstown police said.

Hector A. Chacon-Diaz was arrested Thursday at police headquarters by Clarkstown Juvenile Aid Bureau detectives. He was processed and charges were filed.

Chacon-Diaz was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child (felony) and course of sexual conduct against a child (felony).

He was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court and bail was set at $50,000. He was transported to Rockland County Jail and will return to court on Aug. 6.
