Lentini came up from Manhattan on Nov. 27 and by arrangement Wimbert picked him up at the White Plains train station, police said.
This appears to be the first time both parties had met, according to the Clarkstown Detective Bureau. Prior to the ad being answered on the internet, there was no relationship.

Wimbert was found dead at about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday morning in the multifamily home on Demarest Avenue where he lived, after Lentini was seen running from the house yelling for someone to “call 911.” Lentini was bleeding from a laceration wound to his hand, according to news reports.
