The officials discussed a proposed transit-oriented development project

From the Town of Clarkstown:

New York Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie toured Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski’s district today and visited with officials from the Town of Clarkstown at the Nanuet Train Station, Clarkstown’s only commuter rail.

Supervisor Alex Gromack and members of the Town Board met with Speaker Heastie to discuss a proposed transit oriented development project, which the Town has already received a state grant for the design and implementation of a detailed plan to redevelop vacant and underutilized land in the hamlet of Nanuet into a mixed use, transit-oriented neighborhood.
