State Cops Make 4 Weekend DWI Arrests In Rockland

New York State police from Troop F said they removed 37 impaired drivers from the roads March 1-4. Most were in Orange and Ulster counties. Four arrests were in Rockland:
On March 2, State Police Haverstraw arrested Maryam Muhammad, 23 of New City, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On March 3, State Police Haverstraw arrested Yolanda Cartagena, 50 of Valley Cottage, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 303 in the town of Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Haverstraw when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
