A State Police patrol car was involved in an accident Saturday night on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in Clarkstown. The crash just after 9:30 p.m. took place between the Exit 10 interchange in New City and the Exit 9 interchange in Nanuet just before the Ludvigh Road overpass. The accident involved a marked State Police car and an SUV, which overturned in the accident. Traffic southbound on the parkway was stopped for more than an hour as a result of the accident and the clean up effort, creating an extensive back up on the parkway.

From uncovering hidden flagstone paths, to raking leaves and planting annuals. We've participated in every I Love My Parks Day with Parks &amp; Trails NY and NY State Parks since 2012! Partner groups have included the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, Yale Alumni, Con Edison, Rye Neck School, Mamaroneck School, Stanford Alumni, the Rye Garden Club, Rye Sustainability Committee and many more.&nbsp;
