Support Services for New City Veterans and Families from United Way of Rockland
These are for families and single vets facing a housing crisis.

Thanks to the Westchester Community Opportunity Program, Inc. (WestCOP, Inc.) Support Services for Veterans & Families Program, there is now help available for income eligible Veteran families and single Veterans that are currently homeless or facing a housing crisis. A wide range of services is provided for eligible Veteran families that are intended to promote housing stability.
Just a few of the benefits provided for these Veterans include: Health Care Services, Transportation, Child Care Services, Housing Counseling, Personal Financial Planning, Legal Services, Employment/Training/Education and Income Support.

These services are available through WestCOP to any veteran in the Hudson Valley. To be considered a Veteran under this program, a person must have served in the military at least one active day and discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. For more information on all of the services of this program and other general information please dial 211 for a screening. United Way of Rockland is proud to help raise awareness of these programs and provide screening through its 211 database.
