Three New Eagle Scouts In Troop 97
Jack Welsome, Michael Parrott and John Parrott all became Eagle Scouts within their Boy Scout troop.

NEW CITY, NY - From the Rockland County Executive's Office: Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated three Rockland residents of Troop 97 in New City on becoming Eagle Scouts at their Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
Jack Welsome, a New City resident in his senior year at Clarkstown North High School, installed 24 section markers and four large maps at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spring Valley to assist visitors in locating loved ones.
Michael Parrott, a resident of West Nyack and a senior at Clarkstown South High School, built a 30-foot bridge connecting Germonds Park property in West Nyack with the historic Traphagan property for residents to enjoy.

John Parrott, a West Nyack resident in his senior year at Clarkstown South High School, beautified the Germonds Presbyterian Church cemetery in New City by resetting historic headstones and planting trees.
“Congratulations to these young men on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We are proud of their tremendous efforts and hard work,” said County Executive Day. “I wish them each the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
