Thruway Traffic Stop Results in Felony DWI Arrest of New Jersey Woman

State police made the stop in Sloatsburg.

State Police stopped a vehicle on the New York Thruway at 10:11 p.m. Jan. 11.

It was being driven by Svetlana Likhova, 49, of Palisades Park, NJ.

Officers concluded that Likhova was impaired after she failed field sobriety tests. She was brought to state police offices in Tarrytown for processing where she refused a breath test.

She was charged with felony DWI due to a prior DWI conviction within the previous 10 years. She is due in Sloatsburg Court on Feb. 2.
