
State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 at 1:29AM Aug. 15 that fit the description of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident about 30 minutes earlier.
The driver of the vehicle, Conrad Williams, 43, of the Bronx was found to be intoxicated. During the interview of Williams, he admitted to being involved in the accident, police said.
Williams was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where he refused to take a breath test. He was charged with:

He was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Ramapo Court on Aug. 27.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered neck and back pain. At this time it is unknown if Williams was charged with: Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, a state police spokesman said.
