Janice Goldstein ‘83, Director of the Multi-Media Production Center at RCC, founded the event to showcase the professional quality of student work in a communication and entertainment medium which requires both technological skills and artistic vision. Many of the students she mentors have proceeded to professional work in the field, buoyed by the experience they garner at RCC in the Multi-Media Production Center and in real-world media internships Goldstein has been instrumental in arranging for students (and facilitated by RCC’s Career Services). Prospective media arts students should consider RCC’s AA degree in Communication Media Arts.
