Two Charged With Weekend DWI In Rockland

New York State Police announced arrests this weekend of 21 ​people alleged to be driving while intoxicated. Two were in Rockland.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — New York State Police from Troop F announced the arrests this weekend of 21 people alleged to be driving while intoxicated. Two of them were in Rockland County.

  • On Aug. 17, troopers from the Haverstraw barracks arrested John Savas, 31, of Valley Cottage, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 87 in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
  • On Aug. 19, troopers arrested Joel Marte Feliz, 28, of New Brunswick, NJ for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Ramapo when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
