Two DWI Arrests In Clarkstown

State police in Troop F announced that they removed 33 impaired drivers from the roads over the weekend.

NEW CITY, NY — State Police from Troop F announce they removed 33 impaired motorists from the road over the weekend. Four were in Rockland County.

  • On July 21, State Police arrested Katherine Barreto, 34 of Spring Valley, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police said.
  • On July 22, State Police arrested Michael Cobb, 32 of Nyack, NY for DWI. He was traveling in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
  • On July 22, State Police Haverstraw arrested Javier Vazquez, 47 of Pomono, NY for DWI. Troopers observed a Jeep Cherokee strike a curb as it was entering a Sunoco station on State Route 202 in the town of Haverstraw. Further observation showed the operator of the vehicle stumble getting out of the car. Troopers interviewed the operator of the vehicle, Vazquez, and determined that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
  • On July 22, State Police Haverstraw arrested Shannon Fleetwood, 26 of Nyack, NY for DWI. She was traveling in the village of Nyack when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police said.
