Water Resources Management Task Force Meeting

The Rockland County Task Force on Water
Resources Management will meet Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 5:30 pm in
Rosary Hall, Dominican College, 500 Western Highway, Orangeburg; NY 10962.

Audrey Zibelman, Chairwoman of the Public Service Commission of the State of
New York, will attend the meeting together with Peter McGowan, Chief Policy
Adviser. The meeting is open to the public.

Legislator Harriet Cornell, Chairwoman of the Task Force stated, “The Public
Service Commission has endorsed the work of the Task Force to develop a safe,
long-term water supply for Rockland, incorporating sustainability, demand-side
principles and conservation. Attendance by its Chairwoman at our meeting is
indicative of the importance the Public Service Commission places on this
planning process which can become a model for the state.”

A previously scheduled meeting of the Initial· Demand Committee of the Task
Force for February 12 will be rescheduled.
