Youth Workforce Development Money For The Hudson Valley

NEW CITY, NY — State officials are making $4.5 million available for workforce development programs in targeted areas of New York, including cities in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
Charitable or not-for-profit organizations that win grants will be helping teenagers and young adults who are either disconnected from traditional societal institutions, have dropped out of school, are involved in the justice system, are gang-involved or at risk of gang involvement, or are disadvantaged in some other way.
