Some Events During the Gold Coast International Film Festival
A description of all of the upcoming events taking place with the first annual Gold Coast International Film Festival here in the Town of North Hempstead.

You’ve probably heard. The talk of the town right now revolves around the upcoming Town of North Hempstead first annual Gold Coast International Film Festival (GCIFF). A collaboration between the Town, the Great Neck Arts Center and Clearview Cinemas, the GCIFF debut on June 1—5 promises to place North Hempstead in the company of established festivals such as Tribeca, the Hamptons and Cannes. Visitors flocking to take in the glitz and glamour of the film world are welcomed. Come enjoy all North Hempstead has to offer, from its scenic waterfront to Gold Coast estates and shopping for every taste, from the Americana to local downtowns.
With film screenings scheduled to be showcased in Port Washington, Great Neck, Roslyn and Herricks/New Hyde Park, hopes are that the GCIFF will give our local economy a much needed jumpstart.
With less than a week to go before the red carpet is rolled out, I’d like to take this opportunity to mention some of our exclusive events, programs and other opportunities for residents to become involved in some of the other ongoing festivities.
