Coliseum Voters Coming Out in New Hyde Park
Local voters are weighing in on the Coliseum plan.

More people than expected are coming out to vote on the future of the Nassau , according to some poll workers at . Estimates are that about 160 people voted on before noon on Monday.
Kathy Seyfried said she was undecided about how to vote until arriving at the polls. She went to the presentation about the Coliseum in Mineola, read articles about the issue and watched some TV coverage about it as well.
"Whichever way it goes, I'm hoping for the best," Seyfried said.

She said she saw a lot of pros and cons on either side but noted that there seems to be no guarantee with the new plan. Seyfriend would like to see something done with the Coliseum though.
Seyfried felt that the vote was rushed and could have been done in November, six weeks away, when there will be other elections.
