Ducklings Help Searingtown Students Learn the Principles of Life
Fifth graders observe and learn principals of reproduction with ducklings.
Recently Herricks fifth grade students at the Searingtown School got the opportunity to get up close and personal with a group of ducklings as part of the Embryology Project.
The project is to help Ms. Ruggiano’s students observe the mystery of life and learn some of the principles of reproduction. They are then able to make comparisons between a live birth and an egg birth.
Of course all the students’ favorite part is just having the opportunity to take the ducklings home.
