Equipment Supplier Moves Out of New Hyde Park

Bematech relocates to Bethpage with help of Nassau County tax breaks.

A New Hyde Park business has been lured away to Bethpage with the help of tax breaks from the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency.

According to Nassau County officials, Bematech, a supplier of equipment to retailers and restaurants, relocated from it’s address on Denton Avenue in New Hyde Park to Bethpage Business Park – the large industrial complex once used by Grumman – as of Wednesday.

The developer of the 85.5-acre site, Steel Equities, received a number of tax breaks from the Nassau IDA, allowing it to give low-rent for Bematech.
