Breast Cancer Paths to Wellness Free workshops – Hatha Yoga for You for Current and Past Breast Cancer Patients

Hatha Yoga for You is a class on the ancient science that teaches how to unite body, mind and spirit through the practice of movements and postures coordinated with breathing techniques. Yoga may help increase strength and flexibility, raise energy levels and promote peace of mind. Participants will learn gentle movements to free joints, yoga postures and adaptations, breathing techniques and guided relaxation. It is suggested that participants wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or firm blanket and bottled water. Instructor Jill de la Sota, RYT, has been a student of yoga for 18 years and a yoga teacher for ten years, certified through Yoga Teachers Training Institute. She has continued her studies with notable teachers, including courses on yoga for healing and yoga therapy. Her approach is compassionate and nurturing with emphasis on adapting to the individual.
