FREE! Prostate Cancer Support Group

Dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis and the special circumstances surrounding a prostate cancer diagnosis can be scary for patients, family members or friends.

You are not alone if you have prostate cancer.  One out of six men (1 out of 4 African American men) will have prostate cancer in their lifetime and 230,000 men a year are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.

The Integrated Medical Foundation has an ongoing Prostate Cancer support group which will meet monthly at two locations.  This group is for both the patient and family member. The next support group meeting will meet on October 18, 2011 (7:00 p.m.) at 3111 New Hyde Park Road, New Hyde Park, NY 11042. There will also be a support group on October 19, 2011 in Melville at 532 Broad Hollow Road, Melville, NY 11747.
