The Nassau Hiking and Outdoor Club (NHOC) is pleased to announce that Dennis Fleury from the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons (WRC) will be a guest speaker at their upcoming club meeting. The WRC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of animals impacted by the encroachment of humans on their habitat. Dennis will speak about the WRC programs and bring several rescued animals with him. The NHOC has over 400 members from all walks of life with a common appreciation for the outdoors. They host several such lectures throughout the year as well as over 100 outdoor events for members. Guest are always welcome to attend lectures. Those interested in membership are also welcome to attend one of the club's outdoor events.
