The American Red Cross wants summer to be fun and safe for all ages! On Friday, July 29, 2011 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m., children ages 5-12 will learn about:
- Water Safety
- Fire Safety
- Basic First Aid
- Disaster Preparedness
To help make it fun, there will be facepainting; interactive trivia and video games; as well as a scavenger hunt.
Registration must be made in advance by calling the Long Island Red Cross (516) 747-3500, ext. 230 or 234. The event will be held at 195 Willis Avenue in Mineola.
