The Italian Jewish Connection Continued

Italian Heritage Month is being celebrated at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County by the New York State Commission for Social Justice of the Order Sons of Italy, the Metro North Chapter of B'nai Brith, and the Center.

The record of how the Italians treated their Jewish citizens, plus the Jewish European refugees who had fled there from Nazi occupied Germany, and the Jews who resided in other countries later occupied by Italian troupes--who despite Italy being an Axis partner--, is for the greater part, one of honor.

This story will be explored through drama, film, and testimony on October 23rd at 1:30, at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County while Italians and Jews celebrate their heritage together.
