Herricks Sending 12 to 2013 National History Day Competition

Herricks to be only New York State school to compete in senior group exhibits.

This year Herricks High School will be sending 12 students to the National Level History Day Competition at the University of Maryland in June to compete against the best projects in the nation.

Herricks is the only school in New York State that will be competing in Senior Group Exhibits because the top two winners were both from Herricks. A total of 15 out ofour 20 competing students took home medals.

The results are as follows:

First Place: Group Exhibit – “Without a Trace”
