Inn at New Hyde Park to Have Free Same-Sex Wedding

With the being one of two places on Long Island where same-sex couples can get their marriage licenses on July 24, the first official day that can happen, the is helping these couples get married on the first official day they can do that -- July 25.

In New York State, there is a 24-hour waiting period between the time that a couple gets their marriage license and when they can get married.

The Inn at New Hyde Park is offering same-sex couples a free ceremony on July 25 starting at 10 a.m. and brunch reception. There will be a justice of the peace to perform the ceremonies. Guests are welcome to attend the ceremony and get a brunch for $20 per person.
