UPDATE: Missing Long Island Teen, Victim of NYC Hate Crime, is Located

BREAKING: Yasmin Seweid has been located early Saturday, police say.

UPDATED at 2 a.m. Saturday: Yasmin Seweid, 18, of New Hyde Park, has been located early Saturday, according to Nassau County Police.

Police said they did not have information on where Seweid was located or if she is in good condition.

Original story: A New Hyde Park teen who was victim to a New York City subway hate crime last week is reported missing, police say.

According to authorities, Yasmin Seweid, 18, was last seen leaving her home on foot Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Police say she was wearing a black jacket, black head scarf, black yoga pants, a blue sweater and was carrying a bag containing clothing. She is 5-foot-9 and weighs 150 pounds.

Seweid was attacked Thursday, Dec. 1 in the 23rd Street subway station by a trio of white, male 20-somethings who shouted "Donald Trump!" and tried to remove her hijab, according to the New York City Police Department.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding Seweid's whereabouts to call the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
