Taking place during the physical education classes, the event reinforced the importance of heart health, as well as contributing positively to society. Students enjoyed a variety of jumping jack activities to get their heart rates up. They wore pedometers to track how many steps they took in one class with a goal of at least 1,000 steps in a 40 minute period.
